MongoDB, Inc. has concluded a partnership agreement with Open Source specialist RedBridge AB for the marketing of the leading NoSQL database to the Swedish market
Stockholm, Sweden – 4 December 2014 – MongoDB, Inc. has today announced a partnership with Open Source specialist RedBridge AB to supply high quality IT services in respect of development, operation and infrastructure in order to market a next-generation database to the Swedish market.
Interest in NoSQL databases is increasing rapidly as more and more developers discover the major advantages to be had with technologies such as MongoDB for big data applications where speed, scalability and reliability are important. By way of example, MongoDB User Group in Stockholm already has more than 500 members.
MongoDB was recently named as the only challenger in Gartner's Magic Quadrant for Operational Database Management Systems, and Forrester mentioned MongoDB as being a leading company in the NoSQL Document Databases Wave Report.
The database is used by world leaders such as MetLife, Bosch, Otto and the City of Chicago.
RedBridge will be helping Swedish customers to implement MongoDB at a fraction of the cost compared with traditional SQL databases.
Besides support, consulting and training, MongoDB, Inc. is also offering MongoDB Enterprise Advanced, which includes advanced functions as well as a popular cloud service for administration of MongoDB - MMS.
